Warhammer 40,000

Blessed is the mind too small for doubt.
Plastic Ogres!!! My initial atempt at the perfect City of Death army. Well (except for Matt's @#$%ing armour 13 Chaos Dreadnoughts) they beat the snot out of damn near anything.
The army consists of a normal Human Command Squad fitted out to keep the Ogryn alive. For troops I gave up two of my Imperial Guard Doctrine points on "Abhumans" and then "Feral Ogryn". Imagine three squads of ten Ogryn (or six squads of five) with four strength 5 attacks each on a charge! Ha! For the elite selections I went with three squads of nine normal Ogryn and a Bone'ead. Now you're up to SIXTY Ogryn. >=)
Of course I've only just about got ten of the converted normal Ogryn finished and the campaign is over. So the plan now is to finish up three full squads of ten normal Ogryn. Don't know when they'll be finished though.
These guys were going to be my signature army. Now I think my Soviets are going to be, but they're even slower to build. Sigh.
New Ogryn models are being put out for the new Apocalypse expansion. I've seen em and I'm not 100% happy. I guess it's just the faces. Stay tuned to see what I come up with. My guys that I've already started will get mixed in with the new guys.
Update!: Pictures of my "Work In Progress" brutes. They don't even look like this right now. I've changed the Bone 'Ead since I've taken these shots. He doesn't have the chainsword anymore. It made him look to busy.

The Monglor Ogryn Auxilia is a formation entirely populated by Ogryns from the planet Monglor.
The Auxilia is currently composed of only one regiment as a large percentage of the planet revolted against the Imperium. The Angels of Redemption Space Marine chapter have been redirected to Monglor in order to put down the revolt. The one regiment was posted on Armageddon to defend Hive Helsreach during the Third War for Armageddon, although they remained under surveillance for a long period of time.
